Multi-chamber silo in Broceni, Latvia

Following the acquisition of the plant by the German SCHWENK Building Materials Group in 2019, the facility underwent modernization. The aim was to utilize capacity more efficiently and to produce more environmentally friendly cement grades for new export markets. The cement silo was designed as a multi-chamber silo to allow for the parallel and flexible storage of different cement grades. It was extended to a height of 60 meters during 2021.
